 What was originally Unifour Ford in downtown Valdese became Paramount Ford in the early 1990's when Benny Yount of Hickory purchased the dealership and moved it closer to Interstate 40 for better visibility and more space. Paramount Ford offers all the standard Ford products, from the sensationally popular pickups and sport utility vehicles to the practical family sedans and vans, the sporty coupes, and the economy cars. Paramount offers great service, great deals, and a special Customer Appreciation Package (as of November 1998) that includes discounts on maintenance service, referral bonuses, vacation deals, and other added extras.
 In March 1999, Paramount Ford began selling Hyundai vehicles as well!
