Dear  Waldensian friends, 
I am not sure if you have heard about the big floodings in the Northern part of Italy, specially in the Aosta Valley and the Po-area. The peolpe in our Waldensian Valleys had also a lot of probems with the rivers there. The most bridges were destroyed and the small villages were disconnected to the others villages. The goverment will help the victims of the flooding, but experiences said that the peolpe will wait for the money a long time. The need help now, and maybe more than the goverment will pay. The Waldensian Association of Germany starts collecting money to donate to the Waldensian Valleys. The are in contact to the Tavola Valdese who will help them to bring the money to the right people. After a donnation they will report about the way this money have helped in Italy. I want you to know about this project. Maybe you will talk to the congregation about the problems in our beloved country of Italy.

They have sent all members of this Association a letter with the adress of their bank to donate te money directly. They will collect and give it to the Tavola Valdese in Italy.
