Valdese is blessed with a number of historic and recreational attractions.  Enough to fill an entire day of touring and site seeing. Village ParkA mini-park featuring a waterfall/pond, benches, and a 30' x 40' mural depicting early Valdese.
Meytre Grist MillAn original, water-powered mill currently being restored.
Millennium Clock TowerCommissioned by the Historic Valdese Foundation to celebrate the new Millennium.
Old Rock SchoolAn original Valdese schoolhouse restored to house offices, classes, and performances in its auditorium.
Piedmont & Western Railroad ClubCreating a model railroad recreation of the foothills of North Carolina.
Rock School Art GalleryTwo rooms in the Old Rock School of ever-changing art exhibits sponsored by the Rock School Arts Foundation.
The Trail of FaithA fifteen-station walking tour that retells the journey of the Waldenses from Italy to Valdese.
Valdese Heritage Arts CenterLocal artisans display their works, including pine needle baskets, wood crafts and carvings, glassworks, crafts, and more.
Waldensian Heritage WinesA working winery that is available for tours and can be reserved for parties.
Waldensian MuseumA two-story, ever growing museum dedicated to preserving the history and mementoes of the Waldenses.
